Hale Male sterile sort, with moderate growing tree and round crown. Blossosm mid early, with bell-shaped small blossoms. Good to pollinate with Elberta. Very vigorousîṇ̃. The fruit ripens end of August and are very round and symmetric. The skin is thick, tough, lemon-yellow to yellow, covered partially with red coloring and orange stains, with small, fine, hard-to-see moss. The flesh is like fine grain, red around the stone, sweet, juicy, refreshing, very good quality, easy to separate from the stone. The fruit is not prone to bruising - good for manipulation and transportation. Very good for fresh consummation as well as manipulation, but the red around the stone is considered a flaw when conserving. |

Glohaven American sort. The fruit ripens mid August, large, spherical, symmetrical. The skin is yellow, covered with bloodred patches – beautiful coloring. The flesh is golden-yellow, a bit red about the stone, melting, juicy, tasty. The stone is easy to separate. The tree is average growing, with wide, round crown, very vigorous. Blossoms mid-early, blossom shape – bell-like. The sort is sensitive to curliness, average resistant to spring and winter cold. The fruit is good for consumption when fresh, also good for conservation and nectar, as well as freezing. Not prone to bruising - good for manipulation and transportation. |
