   This is a Bulgarian sort, selected in the VCI in Plovdiv. The tree is moderately growing, blossoming – mid early. It pollinates with Asenica, Triumph, Portugal. The fruit is large, dull pear-shaped to apple-shaped, green-yellow to light-lemon-yellow after cropping, which starts in the beginning of October. The flesh is white-creamy, tender, average juicy, sweet-sour with very good quality. The sort is early ripening and very vigorous.

   Du Portugal is an old and popular sort, blosoms with Asenica sort. It has large to very large somewhat pear-like fruit, that often have sour underskin nuts. It’s good for different processing.
